In 1990, as a student at North Carolina State University’s campus (Raleigh, NC), she was instrumental in establishing a Women’s Center on campus. Something she was told again and again was impossible. Since it’s opened, The Women’s Center has directly served and engaged hundreds of thousands of people. . .58,000 people in 2019 alone.
